How the role plays
- At night points to one player. Until morning that player's color is inverted for the Sheriff and the Journalist: black reads red, red reads black.
- May point to himself or a family member to hide them, or to a townsperson to frame them.
- Affects only checks that night, not shots.
- Wakes with the family.
Tip
Flip whoever the town plans to check; listen to the Sheriff's daytime promises.
Story
He deals in rumors the way others deal in tobacco. One whisper into the right ear, and by morning an honest shopkeeper is "Corvino's man" while a killer is a spotless citizen.
